There are many countries in the gulf region, the UAE and OMAN are two of them. They are neighbours with many similarities and some differences. I will discuss these essay will talk about the similarities and differences.
If we look at the similarities we see that both have the same language Arabic. They are both have situated on Arabian Gulf. They have the same religion – Islam. The landscape is similar wadis, sandy deserts, mountains and sebkhas gravel plains.
Having looked at some similarities, now let’s turn our attention to some differences. For starters the economy. For example the UAE has a lot of oil and gas whereas Oman has agriculture. The next difference is the population: approximately 4 million – UAE 2.5 million – Oman. The size of the country: 220,000 square mils 3X the size of the UAE. The UAE has Emirates whereas Oman has states.
In brief, taking into account all that I have mentioned regarding this issue, I like UAE more than Oman.
